Ridley Scott to Exec Produce Prison Thriller ‘Panopticon’ Based on Black List Script

No matter how many fans and critics openly ask for him to stop, it appears that Ridley Scott is still deadset on making more ‘Alien’ films. And even though his previous entry in the franchise, “Alien: Covenant,” aimed to tie together the previous films with his new prequel story started in “Prometheus,” the film failed to live up to the hype, with many thinking the sci-fi horror series was officially dead.

“Alien” is a film full of influential and iconic moments. Whether it’s the simple premise that has been copied time after time, the strong female action star at the center, the way the Xenomorph is designed, or any number of moments, “Alien” has stood the test of time to constantly be brought up as one of the greatest films of all time.

After his recent split, fans wondered if Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian are back together following his breakup from Sofia Richie. The clues? Well, after news broke that Sofia and Scott had broken up after three years together, fans confirmed that Scott and Kourtney—who split in 2015 after almost a decade of on-again, off-again dating—were on vacation together in Canyon Point, Utah with their three kids: Mason, 10, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 5.

After news broke of Scott’s time in rehab in May, the reality star checked himself out of the facility and returned home to Los Angeles.

Ryan Gosling is reportedly set to head back into space for a new astronaut movie to be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Variety reports the news of the project which Lord and Miller have just boarded.  The planned feature is an adaptation of an Andy Weir novel – you know, the guy who wrote the source material for the brilliant The Martian from Ridley Scott.
