No matter how many fans and critics openly ask for him to stop, it appears that Ridley Scott is still deadset on making more ‘Alien’ films. And even though his previous entry in the franchise, “Alien: Covenant,” aimed to tie together the previous films with his new prequel story started in “Prometheus,” the film failed to live up to the hype, with many thinking the sci-fi horror series was officially dead.

Ridley Scott will executive produce a thriller called “Panopticon” that is based on a script that landed on the Black List in 2017, and AGC Studios will finance and co-produce the film, the studio’s chairman and CEO Stuart Ford announced Thursday.

Paul Feig, the director and co-writer of the 2016 “Ghostbusters” reboot, noted in a recent interview about the film that he believes the “anti-Hillary movement” played a big role in the movie’s negative perception.

“All I have for you is a word,” says a voice in the new trailer for the upcoming science-fiction movie “Tenet” that dropped Thursday. “It’ll open the right doors, and open some of the wrong doors, too.”
