Rico Burton's cousin told he 'should have been bigger' after admitting earlier involvement in fatal brawl

The cousin of Rico Burton - who was murdered following a fight in Altrincham - has been hauled before the courts for his involvement in the brawl. Chasiah Burton, 33, was involved in the fracas moments before Rico, also cousin of world famous boxer Tyson Fury, was knifed. He punched a man twice.
The fight happened in August last year after Liam O’Pray, 22, was aggressive towards door staff in the Goose Green area of Altrincham. Things escalated, before O'Pray stabbing 31-year-old Rico to death.
He was found guilty of murder, and of wounding with intent in relation to another man, Harvey Reilly, who was seriously hurt. O'Pray was jailed for life and ordered to serve a minimum term of 28 years.

Chasiah Burton, who was out with his cousin Rico, admitted a public order offence for his earlier involvement. He was handed a conditional discharge at Minshull Street Crown Court.
Prosecuting, Claire Brocklebank said his case arose from the incident in the early hours of August 21 last year. "There is no suggestion by the Crown that this defendant is blameworthy, of course," she added.
"A crowd had congregated in the Goose Green area, when there was an altercation between two large groups which led to the production of a knife. This defendant's involvement is before that."
In CCTV footage played to the court, Chasiah Burton is seen punching Malachi Hewitt-Brown, before hitting him a second time after he acted 'aggressively'. He is then seen helping his cousin, who has just been fatally attacked.
