Remembrance Sunday parades to take place across Falkirk district

Communities across Falkirk district are planning to mark Remembrance Sunday on November 12 with parades and services taking place at war memorials across the district.
The following processions have been notified to Falkirk Council. Road closures may be in place.
Haggs/Longcroft: The event starts at 10:45am, with a procession from Haggs Parish Church, 37 Kilsyth Road, Haggs, along A803 Kilsyth Road to Longcroft War Memorial for an act of remembrance. They will then return to Haggs Parish Church, which is organising the event.

Falkirk: The parade organised by Falkirk Council meets at the archway to Falkirk Trinity Church on the High Street. At 9.15 am, the procession will walk towards Cockburn Street, crossing at the traffic lights to walk along West Bridge Street and Camelon Road to the war memorial.
The procession will remain on Camelon Road at the Cenotaph for approximately 30 minutes for a Remembrance Service led by Reverend Robert Allan. After the service, the procession will reform and retrace the route back to Falkirk Trinity Church.
Denny: The Denny parade, organised by Denny & District Community Council, will assemble in Carronbank Crescent from 10.10 am.
The parade will leave at 10.40 am, turning right into Stirling Street, then left into Davies Row, Church Walk memorial gardens where a memorial service will be held.
At 11.25 am, the parade will turn right into Stirling Street, then right at Denny Cross into Duke Street to return to Davies Row. ATC members will march from their parade ground, down Nethermains Road and Stirling Street before assembling at Carronbank Crescent.
