After 17 explosive days in the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Camp, YouTube sensation Nella Rose became the second celebrity to be eliminated from the competition - but during her exit across the bridge, fans couldn’t help but notice how no loved ones were there to greet the star. Typically, when a celebrity leaves the show they are met on the iconic jungle bridge by a close relative, friend or partner - but the notable absence of anyone to welcome Nella broke the hearts of countless viewers, who couldn’t quite believe what they were seeing.
However it has since been confirmed that her brother Albert wasn’t too far away after all, as he reportedly landed at Brisbane airport, shortly after her exit to reunite with his famous sister and share his pride and support to her after a nail biting couple of weeks in the jungle. “Her brother Albert arrived in Australia shortly after she was evicted from the show, and it means the world to her having him by her side," a source told MailOnline.
They continued: "It may have looked like she wasn't met by anyone close to her as she crossed the I'm A Celeb bridge, but her brother wasn't far away.” Following Nella’s elimination so early in the competition, fans couldn’t help but take to social media to share their heartbreak at the loss of one of this year’s most entertaining camp-mates and lament the lack of loved ones there to greet her on the bridge.
