The 36-year-old star returned to her former stomping grounds on this week where she reunited with her past co-hosts alongside her wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday. Symone was asked about her health journey, which she credited to her wife, whom she tied the knot with in 2020. «What made me want to change was her. I want to be here for her as long as I can,» she said, pointing to Pearman-Maday.

The Raven’s Home star and her fellow castmates and executive producers staged a walkout on Tuesday March 22 to protest Florida’s controversial “Don’t Say Gay” bill which prohibits the discussion of sexual orientation and gender identity in primary school classrooms.

On Tuesday, the 36-year-old actress shared a video on her Instagram of her and the series’ cast, including Isaac Ryan Brown, Rondell Sheridan, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Emmy Lui-Wang and Felix Avitia, leaving the set. “In support of our LGBTQ+ family and all of those who will be damaged by the 'don’t say gay bill' we the cast of are walking out,” she wrote next to the video.
