Actress Soleil Moon Frye is officially heading back to TV as Punky Brewster, more than 30 years after introducing the character to fans.
Frye signed on to reprise her 1980s role as the titular character last year, this time playing Brewster as a single mother-of-three, alongside Freddie Prinze Jr. as her onscreen ex-husband, Travis.
The pilot episode went so well, U.S. network bosses at NBC have picked up the show for a full 10-episode series.
