Ethan Shanfeld Mac DeMarco is hitting the road with his road trip instrumental album “Five Easy Hot Dogs.” The indie singer-songwriter will perform one night in Los Angeles and three nights in New York, Paris and London in support of the record, which he released in January. DeMarco will be accompanied by a full band, playing an “intimate” set of “Five Easy Hot Dogs” in its entirety alongside rearranged versions of songs from across his discography. “Hello, Mac D here. In July we are bringing ‘Five Easy Hot Dogs’ to the stage. Should be nice, should be different, hopefully, it will be special. Hope to see you there,” he said in a statement.

The news comes just days after France’s Mediawan Rights has pounced on international distribution of another Sipur format, “Hungry for Love,” and partners Sipur and MGM’s winning five Israeli Emmy Awards for chilling doc series “The Devil’s Confession: The Lost Eichmann Tapes.”Tel Aviv-based Sipur has also moved into post on “Bad Boy,” a scripted series from Ron Leshem, creator of the original Israeli “Euphoria” and an exec producer on its U.S version.

Depeche Mode have announced the acts that will be joining them as support on their upcoming ‘Memento Mori’ tour.Announced today (April 12), the band – which is comprised of Martin Gore and Dave Gahan – shared the five acts that will be joining them for their string of tour dates across the continent and the UK later this year.The update was shared on Instagram, where the iconic duo announced that Cold Cave and Young Fathers would be among the names joining them throughout their 34 upcoming shows.Other newly-announced artists joining them include Berlin-based band Hope, former Savages singer turned solo star Jehnny Beth and British trip-hop band Haelos.The European leg of the tour kicks off next month with two performances in the Netherlands, taking place on May 16 and May 18. Selome Hailu Amazon Prime Video has set its first South African original, “LOL: Last One Laughing,” an unscripted comedy series hosted by Trevor Noah. The series, which will launch in early 2024, sees Noah pit 10 famous South African comedians and entertainers against one another to see who can keep a straight face while simultaneously trying to make their opponents laugh. They compete for a grand prize of 1 million Rand (over 50,000 U.S. dollars) that goes to the winner’s South African charity of choice. “I’m excited to be back home to host Prime Video’s first South African Original, ‘LOL: Last One Laughing,’ and to have a chance to connect with my home audience,” said Noah. “I am equally delighted for the opportunity to be working alongside my fellow home-grown comedy stars on a show that not only entertains but gives back to the South African production and charity communities.”
