Psy and BTS’ Suga Go West in New Single and Music Video for ‘That That’

P1Harmony and American singer-songwriter Pink Sweat$ are set to collaborate on the upcoming single, ‘Gotta Get Back’.Yesterday (May 16), the boyband announced the upcoming digital single on Twitter, and also released the song’s pastel-coloured cover art. According to Korea JoongAng Daily, Pink Sweat$ composed the forthcoming collaboration, while P1Harmony members Intak and Jongseob helped pen lyrics for the track.

Lucky Daye has linked up with producer Mark Ronson for a new collaborative single, sharing the smooth cut ‘Too Much’.Released on Friday (May 13), it marks the second time the pair have worked together, after collaborating in 2019 on ‘Fly’ from the soundtrack for animated film Spies In Disguise. On ‘Too Much’, the pair join forces again to create a harmonious blend of disco, soul and funk, courtesy of Ronson’s sumptuous production and Daye’s velvety vocals.

It’ll appear on the Nigerian artist’s sixth studio album ‘Love, Damini’, which is due to arrive this summer.The accompanying ‘Last Last’ video was directed by Burna Boy – real name Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu – and features “my house, my car, my friends, my Igbo, my Shayo”, per an onscreen message.“And most importantly [it’s] for you, my fans,” it adds.

Arcade Fire have shared a new video for ‘Unconditional I (Lookout Kid)’, filled with the tube men that have appeared at their recent live shows – watch it below.The track, shared last month, is the second single from the band’s sixth album, ‘WE’, which came out last week (May 6).The video centres around a host of inflatable tube men, which have also danced around while the band played the song at a number of recent shows at Coachella, in New York and at London’s KOKO.Speaking to NME for last week’s Big Read cover feature, frontman Win Butler was reminded of a scene from the Coachella set, when one of the tube men didn’t inflate properly and needed a kick in order to begin dancing with his friends.“I think when we were making these songs, we weren’t sure what world we were making it for,” he responded.“There’s so many precarious things in the world and so much to have anxiety about, but I’ve been trying to really appreciate these moments when I’m in them. They drive, hang out and party before she leaves him alone in a dark, high-rise apartment.They’re later reunited at the end of the clip, completely naked and frolicking on a tropical beach.

Psy has shared that his collaboration with BTS‘ Suga was what inspired him to make his long-awaited return as a musician.In a recent interview with Billboard, the ‘Gangnam Style’ singer shared that he spent the last few years away from his own music career, instead heading entertainment company P Nation and managing its roster of artists.“In the last two years, I didn’t have a single day as an artist – that was a huge difference [compared to] my last 22 years,” Psy told Billboard about his switch to a more managerial role in the music industry. “That was the only two years that I’ve never lived as an artist.”But the 44-year-old soon rediscovered his love for music after BTS member Suga approached Psy, wanting to produce a song for the ‘Gentleman’ singer. “Right before that, I was a perfect manager,” Psy recalled.“I was really into being a manager of the company for the last two years, before I met [‘That That’],” he added.
