The late Princess Diana was praised countless times for raising her two sons Prince William and Prince Harry as normally as their royal circumstances would allow.
The former Princess of Wales' biographer, Andrew Morton said: “She took the young royals with her on her private charity visits from a young age. One of the reasons was she didn't want the boys to grow up thinking the whole world was 4x4 Range Rovers, shotguns and nannies.”
As well as offering her sons a glimpse of the real world outside of royal life, Diana was famed for being the chief prankster of the family. The late royal often got up to mischievous practical jokes or bought naughty gifts for Harry and William to embarrass them, OK! reports.

In an interview to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his late mother's death, William opened up about a particularly memorable prank that Diana had played on him when he got home from school.
He said: "Just outside this room where we are now, she organised when I came home from school to have Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell waiting at the top of the stairs.
"I was probably a 12 or 13 year old boy who had posters of them on his wall. And I went bright red and didn’t know quite what to say and sort of fumbled and I think I pretty much fell down the stairs on the way up.
"I was completely and utterly sort of awestruck. That was a very funny memory that’s lived with me forever about her, loving and embarrassing and being the sort of joker.”
But that is not the only comical revelation about Diana's love for pranks as her former butler Paul Burrell recalled a funny gift she had once bought
