Princess Beatrice and husband Edo rub shoulders with Swedish Royals in joint engagement

Sarah Ferguson says the late Princess Diana would have "adored" being a grandmother. The 62-year-old author - who has Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie with ex-husband Prince Andrew - was extremely close to the late royal, the ex-wife of Prince Charles, as the pair both married into the British royal family. And Sarah admits it's sad Diana - who died in Paris in August 1997, aged 36 - wasn't alive to meet Princess Harry and William's children.

Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi enjoyed a rare night out on Wednesday night as they attended a preview of A Gallop Through History as part of The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.The 33 year old stunned in a floral dress and Edoardo looked smart in a tuxedo as they watched the preview, which will be included in the Royal Windsor Horse Show. And although Beatrice was out to honour her grandmother, royal expert Duncan Larcombe says the evening also acted as the perfect excuse for her and her 38 year old husband to enjoy a rare night away from their baby daughter Sienna.

Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is. We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every Doctor, nurse and specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way.

Now, seven months after Sienna's birth, it's understood that Beatrice and her husband Edo, 38, who recently rubbed shoulders with Swedish royals in a joint engagement, have christened their baby at Chapel Royal, St James' Palace on Friday 29 April, according to Mirror.

Princess Beatrice was recently spotted leaving Windsor Castle over the Easter period, as she and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and their baby daughter Sienna headed back to their family home. The 33 year old royal and property developer Edoardo, 38, reside at St James's Palace in Westminster with seven month old Sienna, following their private wedding in July 2020. The palace is one of many residences owned by the Royal Family, and is currently home to Beatrice, Princess Anne and Princess Alexandra.

The Cambridge children are going to have “visible roles” in the Queen’s upcoming Platinum Jubilee celebrations, according to reports. Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are reportedly set to appear at a number of events in tribute to the Queen as a “show of Royal force” when she celebrates 70 years of rule in June. According to reports, the three children are likely to ride in a carriage to the Trooping the Colour ceremony, taking place on 2 June, before appearing on the balcony at Buckingham Palace as the Royal family watch the RAF flyover.Their dad, Prince William, is said to be leading the Trooping of Colour ceremony.
