Prince William and Kate Middleton have spoken out after their children stole the show at the first day of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The pair were in high spirits as they celebrated the Queen's 70 years on the throne, but it was the kids in particular which caught the public's eye as the world watched on.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis made their carriage debut at the trooping of the colour, and quickly won over the audience as they waved to the passing crowds. The most enthusiastically waving Cambridge child, however, was Prince Louis, who ended up having to be told to stop waving by big sister, Charlotte, as he kept waving long after the other two had stopped.

After the carriage procession, the three reappeared with their mum and dad on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the flypast, where Prince Louis stole the show yet again.The young prince could be seen chatting with his great-grandmother, the Queen, as the planes flew over the palace, before he was quietly told off by his mum, Kate, for sucking his thumb on the balcony. But the most iconic moment came when the fighter jets flew overhead in the shape of the number 70, with Prince Louis being spotted covering his ears due to the loud noise of the planes.
Prince William later returned to the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in the evening, where he supported the Queen at Buckingham Palace as the Tree of Trees was lit up to celebrate his grandmother's 70 years as the head of state.
