SAG Awards ceremony is going to be quite a bit different.

Actress, producer and director Niecy Nash (Getting On, When They See Us) is set to host the virtual ceremony for the 32nd annual GLAAD Media Awards which will stream on YouTube April 8 at 8pm ET. For the first time ever, the ceremony will also stream on Hulu on April 8 at 10pm ET.

Late-night hosts like Trevor Noah, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert sounded off on the 2021 Golden Globes’ diversity controversy one day after the award show aired.  During this year’s presentation, the stars took a back seat as the virtual show highlighted the ongoing diversity problem within the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which votes for the awards.

Golden Globes took place semi-virtually on Sunday 28 February, with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosting a modified ceremony owing to the coronavirus pandemic. Both hosts performed their duties from separate cities, on opposite coasts.

Ricky Gervais has shared a message for the former targets of his jokes ahead of the 2021 Golden Globes. The British actor and comedian has hosted the annual ceremony five times between 2010 and 2020, and used each opportunity to target high-profile Hollywood figures with shocking and often controversial jokes.
