A shop in Glasgow says they are 'fully stocked' with the new Prime energy drink but desperate teens are being charged £10 a bottle.
Tubbees Dessert Lab, on Paisley Road West, are selling bottles of the energy drink for £10 a bottle and are offering Orange and Lemon and Lime flavours, reports Glasgow Live.
Desperate teenagers across the globe have been racing to buy the drink, created by YouTube duo KSI and Logan Paul, and sweeping it off shelves.
Last week, Aldi quickly sold out after it was announced that the supermarket was selling them for £1.99 a bottle.
Shell garages are also said to be selling them for £3.
But Tubbees Dessert Lab in Glasgow are charging punters £10.
A note on the window states: "Due to demand, we have sourced Prime, this has come to us at five times the price as it's imported from the USA."
Some have been criticising the store online.
One said: "I will be boycotting all Tubbees stores due to this, scalping is disgusting. Adding £1 on to the price is understandable however adding a 400% profit on is vulgar."
Another added: "There’s people out there barely getting by and kids wanting this and you charge £10."
A third said: "How disgusting is this."
A spokesperson for Tubbees Dessert Lab said: "The Prime we have brought in has been imported from the United States, it's being sold to us five times the price of the official UK retailer.
"We have brought this in due to demand from customers, and at each sale the price is explained. We hope to get better stock shortly."
