The north’s centre of excellence for golf improvement, The Academy at Trafford Golf Centre, has welcomed two new academy recruits as the golfing venue focuses on its Junior Academy offering.
Paul Williams and Matthew Cross have joined the growing team of twelve PGA professionals at Trafford Golf Centre.
The duo have begun their PGA degree programme and are the driving force behind the Junior Academy, including the school education programme, alongside assistant PGA coaches, Matthew Phillips and Callum Hayes.
Director Pete Styles said: "It’s an exciting year at Trafford Golf Centre and we’re excited to see our Junior Academy move from strength to strength. Seeing young people out on the range and progressing in the sport is fantastic!
"Our group and individual packages have been crafted to help our young golfers progress through a series of achievable targets, learning not just how to play golf but also the rules and etiquette of the game."
Trafford Golf Centre prides itself on being an inclusive venue, welcoming people from all walks of life to enjoy golf.
