Pregnant visitors at a Scots tourist attraction have been enjoying sneak peaks at their unborn babies thanks to a special thermal camera.
The infrared device at Dundee Science Centre detects heat coming from the body and uses it to create a clear image.
But mums-to-be have been getting extra special surprises as the camera is able to pick up the shape of their babies that are still inside the womb.
The popular attraction has shared a heartwarming encounter one pregnant mum and her young family recently had with their baby brother.
She said: “When joking around at the science centre’s heat camera, my partner and I noticed we could see our unborn baby. It was absolutely amazing.
“Our children were so excited to see their baby brother for the first time. Thank you for such a special experience and for a great day out overall.”
Other visitors also shared their own amazing encounters and pictures on the social media post. One wrote: “This was mine with my twins, you can clearly see them both and it was amazing for my family to see them both!”
Another said: “This was mine from 2019 when I was having our youngest. Think I was about 25 weeks at this point.” A third added: “Our baby in my tummy lying sideways 2021.”
