Yungblud performed his latest single ‘The Funeral’ during last night’s episode of The Late Late Show in the US – you can watch the singer’s energetic performance, during which he kissed host James Corden, below.The Doncaster artist released the track earlier this month before sharing its official video, which features a cameo from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.Yungblud performed ‘The Funeral’ on the Corden-hosted Late Late Show last night (March 28) with his live band, who paid tribute to the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died last week, with the message ‘4 Taylor’ on their bass drum skin.During the performance, Yungblud left the stage and ran over to Corden’s desk, where he planted a series of kisses on the host’s face before running back to rejoin his band to finish the song.Yungblud later ended the performance by highlighting his band’s drum tribute to Hawkins, which Corden also acknowledged – you can watch the performance of ‘The Funeral’ above.‘The Funeral’ is expected to feature on the follow-up to Yungblud’s 2020 album ‘weird!’. Pachinko director Kogonada has opened up about his experience working with Academy Award winner Youn Yuh-jung on the upcoming Apple TV+ series.In a recent interview withThe Korea Herald, Kogonada spoke about his time working with Youn and gushed about her performance as the show’s main character Sunja. “Her face to me was like a map of human history and Korean history, and the notes that she can play on her face are really remarkable to me,” he said.He added that he felt so compelled by Youn’s acting that he was always eager to film the next scene with her while on set.

Running over March 8 – 10 in the southwest city of Bordeaux in France, this year’s forum saw both international buyers (totalling 297 overall – a 12% increase from the previous edition) and adult skewing projects notch upward – two facts not wholly unrelated.Whether on purpose or by some happy twist of fate, the four beneficiaries of this year’s Cartoon Movie Tribute Awards reflected a pair of key industry trends.At an event where one third of the pitch projects were based on preexisting material, it was thus fitting that adaptation “Even Mice Belong in Heaven” — directed by Denisa Grimmová & Jan Bubeníček, co-produced by Czechia’s Fresh Films, France’s Les Films du Cygne, Slovakia’s Cinemart and Poland’s Animoon – would win for Producer of the Year, and that the graphic novel inspired “Melvile” – directed by Romain Renard and Fursy Teyssier, produced by Belgium’s Need Productions and co-produced by France’s Creative Touch and Special Touch Studios – would claim the Eurimages Co-Production Development award.
