A teenage boy has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a young man in Bury town centre. The boy, 17, who can't be named due to legal reasons, appeared over videolink at Manchester Crown Court.

Police are looking to speak with this man after a serious assault in the early hours of the morning left a man in hospital.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police were called to Bolton Street, Bury, at around 3am this morning, April 14 after a man in his 20s was attacked, with the victim needing treatment in hospital for his injuries.
Investigations have led officers to believe the victim was attacked by two people in the town centre, sustaining serious injuries. A man in his 20s was arrested has already been arrested in connection with the incident, before being released under investigation.

Now, officers have released pictures of a man they'd like to speak with about the attack. The man is young and slim, with short blonde or brown hair.
Detective Constable Alex Fagelman, of Bury CID, said: "This was a violent attack that we are sure must have been witnessed - any members of the public who have information about the incident should ring police on 0161 856 8185 or 101 and quote log 260-14/04/2022."
