Police have issued an appeal after a 'young girl' was involved in an 'altercation' in a park in Heywood.
Members of the public called officers over concerns for the girl's welfare on Sunday evening. The girl was believed to have been 'involved in an altercation' with two people in Queens Park at around 8.30pm, Greater Manchester Police said.
Officers believe the two people left the park in a gun metal-coloured Audi. The girl is believed to have walked off separately with a man.

Police now want to 'make sure the young girl is safe and well'. Detectives believe the girl knew the person she left with but have issued an appeal for anyone with information, 'no matter how small', to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Tim O'Callaghan from GMP Rochdale said: "Firstly, I would like to thank the members of the public who spoke to the young girl in the first instance, and for reporting their concerns to us. We do believe that the girl knew who she left with, but we want to appeal to anyone who may have more information to come forward so that we can ensure she is safe and well.
"If you were in the Queens Park Road area of Heywood on Sunday night, and witnessed the incident or heard anything, please do not hesitate to get in touch, no matter how small the information may seem, it may be vital to our enquiries."
