car careered into a gas main in Glasgow this morning.Police raced to the scene following the incident which happened on Lochend Road in Gartcosh at around 11.40am.Cops have sealed off the area and locals have been left without gas after the 36-year-old smashed into the gas main.Gas engineers are currently on the scene and police insist there is no threat to the wider community.There does not appear to be any serious injuries as a result of the incident.

Fife.Police swooped on a residential area in Kelty after the incident happened at around 9am this morning.A 43-year-old man has been arrested after he allegedly assaulted the 40-year-old on Keltyhill Road.Emergency services raced to the scene and the victim was taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment.

They added that Bury Old Road appeared to be closed by the officers.Now, police have revealed that officers were responding to a triple-car smash in Great Cheetham Street East at around 1.40pm.A man was arrested on suspicion of driving with no insurance and robbery.Greater Manchester Police has launched enquiries into the incident.
