A motorist was detected driving at 118mph on the M8 near Chapelhall during the Easter weekend.
The incident was among 10 “high-level” speeding offences dealt with by Police Scotland’s road policing division during the four-day holiday weekend, part of the ongoing six-week lockdown.
A 25-year-old man was reported after the 118mph detection, which occurred on Good Friday, April 10.
Meanwhile, officers also detected 16 high-level drink- and drug-driving offences across Scotland in the same four-day
