Police have arrested three males in Scotland in connection with an investigation into two shootings in Bolton.

Police were called to a crash between a tram and a car on the Metrolink line in Tameside this morning.
The smash happened on the Ashton line near to Snipe retail park. Pictures showed multiple police vehicles on the scene at around 6.45am.
The car appeared to have been left damaged to its side. The tram line was blocked between Ashton-under-Lyne and Droylsden as police responded.

A spokesperson for Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) confirmed no-one was injured in the incident. The car has since been moved from the tracks and the line has reopened as normal.
In a statement, a TfGM spokesperson said: "A Metrolink tram was involved in a collision with a car at Ashton Moss (Snipe Junction) just after 6.15 this morning. No injuries have been reported and the car has now been recovered from the tracks.
"There are currently minor delays on the Ashton Line and we apologise for any inconvenience. Further customer information can be found on the TfGM website."
