Stockport could get a new industrial estate and community accessible park under plans to develop a plot of land in Bredbury.
A site next to Ashton Road at Bredbury Park Way has been earmarked for the scheme, which could include warehousing and manufacturing.
This is located near the existing Bredbury Park Industrial Estate.

A previous scheme to develop the land was refused by Stockport council in March 2021, after councillors ruled that the benefits would not outweigh 'the harm to the green belt.'
If approved in future, the proposed development is expected to create a 'significant' number of jobs and provide a boost to the local economy.
Alongside new business units, the plans include creating a 'publicly accessible community nature park' as well as a 'landscaped setting.'
The borough of Stockport is undergoing major regeneration work at the moment, with new housing and business hubs being built in the town centre and beyond.
This proposed scheme in Bredbury by FI Real Estate Management (FIREM) is aimed at attracting new 'local and regional businesses' to use the site.
The developer has submitted initial reports to Stockport council about environmental and transport matters relating to the proposed development.
A planning application is expected to be submitted later this year.
