Mark Reynolds framed the ruins of Jedburgh Abbey into a spooky face for this brilliant pre-Halloween shot.
It’s all about the angles – he got down low to make sure the arch formed the mouth with the building beyond.
He is this week’s £100 winner.
Loch Uaine, in the Cairngorms, translates as “the green lochan” for a reason. Louise Muirhead caught the colours perfectly in this shot.
The contrast from two yellow-leafed trees and the sand in the foreground makes the colour pop.
