Phillip Schofied's return date to This Morning appears to have been confirmed - and it won't be for weeks. The presenter took a week off from his hosting duties on the ITV daytime show leaving Holly Willoughby to team up with two new, yet very familiar, faces.
To start the week it was an all-female takeover as the 42-year-old presenter was joined by Alison Hammond. But after two fun-filled, and often chaotic, days together, Alison has had to step back from hosting duties until Friday (March 31) and was replaced.
Holly was joined on her remaining two shows of the week (Wednesday and Thursday) by Joel Dommett with the presenter and comedian proving a big hit among viewers with many demanding he stay in the co-hosting role.

But at the end of Thursday's show, Holly thanked Joel for hosting with her for a couple of days while he appeared more than thrilled with the opportunity and thanked her for helping him through. Holly then waved to the camera as she confirmed she'll be absent from the programme for a couple of weeks for her annual Easter break.
The news was also confirmed during an ad break on Thursday as This Morning revealed Alison and Dermot will be replacing Holly and Phil for the next two weeks meaning Phillip won't be back alongside Holly until April 17 at the earliest.
Meanwhile, This Morning viewers have been making demands to show bosses about Joel's appearance on the show. @t_catttt tweeted: "#ThisMorning Joel and Holly duo is a the next thing!" @ck2618036556 requested: "Keep Joel and Holly #ThisMorning." @Alexfern03 posted: "Campaign to get Joel Dommett on @thismorning everyday!" @Eleanor30913482
