Phillip Schofield has broken his silence with his first Instagram post in over a year, amid rumours he is set to make a return to TV. The 62 year old has remained largely under the radar since stepping down from This Morning almost a year ago to the day, following a scandal involving a younger male colleague.
On Wednesday, 15 May, he shared a snap of his dog, Alfie, perched on the edge of the bed, apparently watching F1 on the television, with Phillip writing: "Thankfully, Alfie is a big @f1 fan." The timing of Phillip's Instagram post could be deemed significant, as he presented his final ever This Morning show on Thursday, 18 May, 2023. After stepping out with Declan Donnelly recently, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive that he could be planning on making a big TV comeback by going on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! later this year.
Phillip and Dec were seen laughing and joking together, and it seems that the meet-up may not have just been a social call, as a source has claimed to OK! that Phillip is hoping for a career comeback that could even involve I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!.
