Phillip Schofield breaks silence on Holly Willoughby 'feud' as he says it 'hasn't been easy'

Phillip Schofield has addressed the alleged ongoing 'feud' with his co-star and longtime best pal Holly Willoughby as he addressed their friendship following claims there have been tensions between the ITV presenters.
Despite fronting popular shows for several years together including Dancing On Ice and This Morning, sources have speculated over recent months that their off-screen friendship has taken a downward turn.
The pair have always maintained a close relationship when the cameras aren't rolling aside from their on-screen chemistry together, but sources have suggested that the best pals are not "as close as they once were," according to the Mirror.
Following the news, the presenting stars appeared together in their usual spots on Thursday's episode of This Morning and put on a united front in a bid to silence any claims.
But Phillip has spoken about the rumours, as he attempts to win back his friendship. The 61-year-old host has continually described Holly as his "rock" during some of the most turbulent times in his life.
It comes as Phillip explained that Holly always has his back immediately when he needs somebody to talk to about his personal troubles in a recent interview and says the 42-year-old host had been his pal through "thick and thin."
Speaking to The Sun previously, he said: "The last few weeks haven't been easy for either of us.
"My family went through a real ordeal.
"And Holly's support throughout meant the world to me, as did the support of my bosses at ITV, my editor Martin Frizell and the whole This Morning family, including our amazing viewers."
