Phillip Scofield offered an impressive update of his fitness journey as he shared a snap of his huge biceps on social media.Taking to his Instagram Story after a workout on Monday, the 59 year old television personality shared an image of his flexed arm with his sleeve rolled up. Phillip, who was recently able to hug his This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby for the first time in two years, revealed it was "arms day" at the gym.
"Aww the hazelnut is trying to become a Brazil nut.. one day a pecan," the dad-of-two humoured for his followers.
Since lockdown began in 2020, Phil has been working on overhauling his fitness. In February 2021, he shared a picture of his arms, proudly revealing that he was the owner of "tiny guns".
Meanwhile, Phillip recently enjoyed a warm embrace with his best friend Holly for their first proper on-screen hug in nearly two years. On Monday 28 February's episode of ITV's This Morning, the pair explained it was their first show together since Covid-19 regulations had been lifted.To celebrate the fact they no longer have to social distance or sit two metres apart, Holly told viewers: "Now, with global travel restrictions coming to an end, it's set to be the year of the long haul holiday." Phillip then put his arm around best mate Holly's shoulder while continuing: "Also the [perspex] screens came down on Dancing on Ice last night… And this is the closest we've been on the telly." They then embraced and cuddled one another tightly as Holly revealed her excitement, saying: "Look at that!" The pair also present Dancing on Ice together, with Phil recently sharing a filming secret about Holly.
