Peter Kay has promised to make a "big announcement" on radio this week.
The comedian tweeted a short statement thanking everyone who went along to his standup shows in Manchester, and then urged people to listen to Sara Cox on BBC Radio 2 just after 6pm tomorrow.
It's not clear what he is going to say, but he added "everybody deserves a bit of joy", and the post has sent fans wild.
The full statement reads: "I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to the first shows in Manchester. It was incredible to be part of such a happy experience. Everybody deserves a bit of joy. Here's to a lot more in the shows to come!!"
"P.S. big announcement Thursday on Sara Cox Drivetime Show just after 6pm."
Many fans were left disappointed they couldn't get tickets when they first went on sale because the volume of people trying crashed ticket sites.
Responded to Peter's tweets, come fans are hoping for a TV return, one replied: "Phoenix Nights or Car share to come back"
Another wrote: "Announce Phoenix Nights Season 3" Someone else commented: "Phoenix nights returning…." A fourth said: "Live streamed gig I reckon, so we can all see it!"
