Hearts midfielder Peter Haring revealed he is in no rush to ramp up contract talks - because he's fully focused on completing a double over Hibs.
The Tynecastle favourite is out of contract at the end of the season and boss Robbie Neilson is keen to tie him down on an extended deal.
But the pair have agreed it's best to wait until after Saturday's Scottish Cup semi-final against their Edinburgh rivals.
Haring starred as Hearts beat Shaun Maloney's side 3-1 at the weekend to secure third place in the Premiership.
And now the Austrian wants to make it a derby double before deciding on his future.
Haring told the Edinburgh Evening News : “Obviously the gaffer pulled me aside a couple of weeks ago and talked to me about my contract situation. We agreed that we will get the two derbies out of the way and then keep talking about it.
“I know what I've got at Hearts. He doesn't need to sell it to me. I know how big a club this is and how enjoyable it can be. I have to think about what I want in the future and then we will make a decision.
“I haven't thought too much about it so far. The season has gone well. It could be even better and that's the focus for now before anything else happens.”
