Peter Andre baffled as biography claims he has a very different name

Singer and reality TV personality Peter Andre was baffled on Wednesday as he discovered a biography about his life suggesting that his real name was something entirely different. The 49 year old posted a screenshot of the biography to his Instagram stories, which said that his full name was Peter James Andréa, but that he was also known as "Peter Mirigliani”. Pete used editing tools to ring the offending section in blue alongside an arrow, and he wrote: “Erm… Am I?”.The rest of the information was correct, as it stated that Pete, who rose to fame in 1995 with his hit Mysterious Girl, was born in Northwick Park Hospital in London, and went to school in Queensland Australia, where he grew up.

His wife Emily, 32, is also officially Andréa, as are their children. She told us in 2016: “It’s on all the children’s birth certificates and is now my surname.” After initially finding fame on Australian talent show, New Faces, it was his Mysterious Girl song that made him a household name in England in 1995. Pete went on to star in ITV’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here in 2004, where he struck up a romance with glamour model Katie Price, 43.
