The libel trial between Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy kicked off at the High Court in London on 10 May, with the two WAGs going head-to-head over the coming days. Rebekah, 40, is suing Coleen, 36, for libel after she penned a tweet in October 2019 claiming that Rebekah's Instagram account was linked to stories about her to the press. Mum-of-five Rebekah vehemently denies the claims, and is seeking damages and an order to prevent Coleen from repeating the allegations.
The duo's famous husbands - former England footballer Wayne, 36, and Leicester City ace Jamie, 35 - have been discussed in the trial and Wayne is also set to give evidence. Peter Andre On the first day, Coleen's barrister David Sherborne referenced a 2004 interview Rebekah gave to the News Of The World newspaper. The 40 year old spoke about a sexual encounter with singer Peter Andre, 49.
David presented an A3 print out of the article to Rebekah in court, and proceeded to read out the headline: "Peter's hung like a chipolata, shaved, slobbery, lasts five minutes." Coleen's barrister then continued by reading out different parts of the article, which included comments from Rebekah regarding Peter's manhood. She said that the dad-of-four had "the smallest trouser equipment I've ever seen" and that it was like a "miniature chipolata", while also stating that their sexual encounter lasted "just five minutes".
