Wolf Alice guitarist Joff Oddie has issued a statement regarding his ongoing absence from the band’s current North American tour.The London group kicked off their latest run of headline dates last month in support of their third studio album, last year’s acclaimed ‘Blue Weekend’.As many fans pointed out on social media, Oddie has been replaced by a stand-in guitarist at all of the shows on the tour so far. Tonight (April 7) Wolf Alice took to Twitter to post “a message from Joff” in which he explained why he’s temporarily missing from the line-up.“I’m sorry I’ve been late in getting in touch with you all,” his statement began.

Glastonbury 2022 go on sale this evening (March 24), with ticket and coach packages available to registered fans.This year’s festival, which will be held from June 22-26, has already sold out after deposits that were initially paid for Glastonbury 2020 were rolled over for a second year following the cancellation of the 2021 festival.Anyone who had paid a deposit had until March 7 to pay off the remaining balance (£230 + £5 booking fee).However, any returned tickets will be available here tonight as part of a package that involves travel to and from the festival by coach.The sale will be limited to 2 tickets per transaction, to reflect the limited number of seats available per coach. A list of departure points is available here and you must be registered to buy a ticket to Glastonbury 2022.There will also be a sale of general admission tickets this Sunday (March 27).

Wolf Alice have announced a new set of North American tour dates for September and October – tickets will be available from here.The London four-piece are already due to tour the continent later this month and into April in support of their third studio album, ‘Blue Weekend’.Wolf Alice will then head back to the US and Canada for a series of live dates in late September and through October.Kicking off at New York City’s Terminal 5 on September 27, the tour will visit such cities as Boston, Detroit, Chicago, Denver and Vancouver before concluding in San Francisco on October 17.North America Fall Tour

Fontaines D.C. are gearing up to perform a free show in Dublin for St Patrick’s Day.Set to take place at The Complex in Dublin this Thursday (March 17), the show, which will also be live-streamed, will see the five-piece premiere tracks from their upcoming third album ‘Skinty Fia’, which is due to arrive next month.The event, put on in collaboration with whiskey brand Jameson, will also include a short film about the band’s Dublin roots, looking at their formative years.“This St. Patricks Day, we’ll be doing a live stream with @jamesonwhiskey from Dublin, to you, wherever you are,” Fontaines D.C.

Wolf Alice have been crowned the Best Festival Headliner at the BandLab NME Awards 2022.The London band beat Billie Eilish, Liam Gallagher, Megan Thee Stallion and Tyler, The Creator to the title.Wolf Alice made their first post-lockdown festival appearance at Latitude Festival last summer, where they played a headline slot at Henham Park. BRIT Awards 2022 attracted its lowest audience ever in overnight figures when it was broadcast on Tuesday (February 8).According to figures published by Broadcast, ITV pulled in 2.7 million viewers during the show, which spanned two-and-a-half-hours from 8pm.While this is the lowest in the show’s history, a drop from 2.9 million viewers for 2021’s event, this figure doesn’t count viewers around the world who streamed it digitally on YouTube or catch-up service ITV Hub.The show also went up against BBC drama This Is Going To Hurt starring Ben Whishaw,  which attracted a bigger audience of 3.2 million viewers in overnight ratings.This year’s BRIT Awards featured performances from Adele, Ed Sheeran, Little Simz, Dave, Liam Gallagher and Sam Fender – along with a surprise appearance from Bring Me The Horizon.Adele was the big winner on the night, taking three awards including the coveted Album Of The Year for her fourth LP ‘30’.
