Wolf Alice sign major new record label after split with Dirty Hit

The outlet also reported that Sony Music’s CEO Rob Stringer is known to be an “ardent admirer” of the band.Things have been quiet for Wolf Alice as of late, but their song ‘Don’t Delete The Kisses’ recently made an appearance on the soundtrack of The Boys spin-off Gen V.Guitarist Joff Oddie also appeared at the Featured Artists Coalition’s annual AGM, as part of a panel of artists looking back on 2023 and what challenges and opportunities lie in the year ahead. In September, they played an intimate charity show at London’s Sebright Arms as part of Barnfest, an all-dayer raising money for children’s cancer charity Flynne’s Barn. The show included their cover of Alex G’s ‘Bobby’, which appeared on the deluxe edition of their 2021 album ‘Blue Weekend’, and renditions of The Pogues’ ‘I’m A Man You Don’t Meet Everyday’, Johnny Flynn‘s ‘The Water’ and the traditional American folk song ‘Plastic Jesus’.

Why have so many UK festivals been cancelled or postponed?

NME about why so many grassroots events have seen cancellations recently or are taking a fallow year in 2024.While a number of the UK’s mid-to-large capacity festivals have shared their line-ups over recent weeks, a number of grassroots events have broken news to fans that they would no longer be going ahead. Last month saw Herefordshire’s Nozstock Hidden Valley announce that 2024 would be their final incarnation after 26 years due to “soaring costs” and financial risk”, while the fan favourite Shepton Mallet skating and music festival NASS announced that they wouldn’t be putting on an event this summer either as it was “just not economically feasible to continue”.Elsewhere, rising costs also cancelled Dumfries’ Doonhame Festival for 2024, Bluedot announced a year off for the land to “desperately” recover after being struck by heavy rain and cancellations last summer, Nottingham’s Splendour has been canned for this year due to planning delays from a financially-struggling city council, and Barn On The Farm shared that it would be taking a fallow year due to financial constraints.Last year Barn On The Farm hosted headline performances from Gang Of Youths, Bleachers and Holly Humberstone, as well as sets from the likes of Sigrid, Sam Ryder and Mahalia.

Harry Styles' Love On Tour setlist 2022 in full: What will Harry sing at arena and stadium shows across Canada and USA, what time is he on stage and who are the support act?

While it's nothing new, and we're certainly not complaining, Harry Styles' name is inescapable right now. Not content with scoring ten weeks atop the Official Singles Chart with As It Was, claiming the year's first Official Charts Double as Harry's House simultaneously nabbed Number 1, making moves in the beauty business with Pleasing and starring in upcoming movie Don't Worry Darling with girlfriend Olivia Wilde (that TRAILER, though), the One Direction star's now preparing to treat fans across Canada and the USA to Love On Tour.
