Whoopi Goldberg responds to “insane” rumours she’s on the Epstein list

Whoopi Goldberg has denied “insane” rumours that she’s on Jeffrey Epstein’s list.Earlier this week, the names of dozens of high-profile figures with connections to the late sex offender were made public with the release of court documents. Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton were among the associates as well as Michael Jackson and Stephen Hawking.Numerous online trolls had claimed that Goldberg was on the list and she dispelled the rumours on Thursday’s (January 4) episode of The View, branding the accusations “insane”.“Apparently they said I was on an island, and I’m like, ‘I don’t go anywhere,'” Goldberg said.“So I’m just going to say — and there’s just been a lot of stuff recently, I don’t know what I’ve done to anybody — but apparently there are a lot of the sites and they’re satire sites and people don’t realise they can be harmful.”Goldberg went on to quash numerous other rumours about her that was circulating online. “I never got kicked out of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant.

‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ Review: A Bedazzling Sequel, and the Rare Comic-Book Movie That Earns Its Convolutions

Owen Gleiberman Chief Film Critic Nearly every mainstream animated feature (and just about every comic-book movie too) sets a tone and visual design that the audience plugs into; the movie, bold and shiny and clever as it may be, won’t deviate much from that. But the images in “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” have an intoxicating unpredictability. The film makes you feel like you’re dropping through the floors of a modern art museum on acid, yet there’s a thrilling moment-to-moment logic to it all. The madly eclectic images express something — an eyeball-tickling explosion of quantum physics, or a subliminal nod to some comic-book style from decades ago that’s so retro it’s new, not to mention bedazzling. This feels like it could have been the first movie designed to earn a thumbs up from Andy Warhol and Stephen Hawking.
