A young woman has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a police car responding to an emergency call in Aberdeen city centre.

The partner of a young mum who died suddenly aged just 26 has spoken of the moment he realised something was gravely wrong.

In the early hours of May 12 1996 firefighter John Ogden was in a crew responding to a 999 call. He was a member of White Watch, based at Gorton, in Manchester's inner-city.
