The docuseries follows John Leguizamo in a travelogue format as he explores and highlights different Latino communities across America. Season 1 saw him visit New York City, Miami, Washington D.C., Chicago, Puerto Rico and Los Angeles, joined by guests including George Lopez and Robert Rodriguez. Locations for Season 2 have yet to be announced. Season 1 premiered on April 16 at 10 p.m., and went onto achieve a higher number of viewers in the adults age 25-54 demographic than any other MSNBC Films series. It also beat CNN in terms of total weekly viewers during its six-week run, and was Peacock’s most viewed MSNBC original in over two years. Hispanic viewers made up 13% of the audience of “Leguizamo Does America.”

Quincy Jones has been released from the hospital after suffering a medical emergency.Jones' rep tells that the 90-year-old music producer had a bad reaction to some food he ate, and out of an abundance of caution called 911 for help.Paramedics arrived at Jones' Los Angeles home Saturday afternoon and transported him to the emergency room to get checked out. Per the outlet, Jones was cleared by doctors soon after, and was released from the hospital. Cory Gnazzo, who has served as the executive producer of “The Rachel Maddow Show” since 2014 and who has been with the show since its launch in 2008, is taking on a new role as senior executive producer at the network. He will continue to shepherd Maddow’s Monday broadcast on MSNBC and represent her various projects to NBCUniversal. Maddow struck a deal with the media conglomerate in 2021 that calls for the creation of various podcasts, documentaries and more, while keeping her tethered to MSNBC once a week and for special reports.
