St Denis Medical hasn’t even premiered yet, and the show is already receiving a higher episode count!

Selome Hailu NBC has given a five-episode back order to the upcoming hospital mockumentary “St. Denis Medical,” bringing its first season to a total of 18 episodes. Per the official logline, the single-cam comedy series is “about an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital where the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity.” The ensemble cast includes Wendi McClendon-Covey as St.

NBC has picked up 5 additional episodes of St. Denis Medical, bringing the Season 1 order for the single-camera comedy to 18 episodes.

Warner Bros is filling out the 2025, 2026 calendar and beyond. Today, the Burbank, CA studio announced that New Line Cinema’s Mortal Kombat 2 will hit cinemas on Oct. 24, 2025 in Imax, while Drew Hancock’s Companion will kick off on Jan. 10, 2025, also in Imax.

Jeremy Slater (“Moon Knight,” “The Umbrella Academy”) wrote the screenplay for the sequel.The previous film was a new adaptation of the popular video-game franchise that offered a grittier, more violent take on the material than the 1990s films.

New Line has rounded out its cast for Mortal Kombat 2, with Martyn Ford (Red Sonja), Desmond Chiam (Joy Ride), Ana Thu Nguyen (Suka) and Damon Herriman (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) coming aboard for roles.

And as reported exclusively by Variety, Allison Tolman will play Alex, the supervising nurse in St. Denis’ emergency department who is dedicated to providing excellent care to her patients, often sacrificing her personal life to maintain her high standards.
