BBC producers are going all out for the Traitors on Friday with a new reunion special. The final episode of the BBC One murder show will see the remaining Traitors and Faithfuls battle it out to win the prize fund.

Naman Ramachandran The BBC has revealed a first look for season 2 of show “The Traitors.” Season 1 was a huge success and won two BAFTAs, including for host Claudia Winkleman. Set in a Scottish castle, the format sees 22 strangers compete in a series of missions for a chance to win £120,000 ($151,000). However, amongst the players lie the ‘Traitors,’ who meet in secret and decide who to eliminate from their fellow players known as ‘Faithfuls.’ “The Traitors” will return on Jan.

Zack Sharf Digital News Director Florence Pugh said during a recent interview on the “Off Menu” podcast that she “most definitely” abused herself to get into character for “Midsommar.” The Ari Aster-directed horror movie starred Pugh as Dani, a grieving American psychology student who psychologically breaks down when she joins her toxic boyfriend on a trip to Sweden’s midsummer festival. “When I did it, I was so wrapped up in her and I’ve never had this ever before with any of my characters,” Pugh told podcast hosts James Acaster and Ed Gamble. “I’d never played someone that was in that much pain before, and I would put myself in really shitty situations that maybe other actors don’t need to do but I would just be imagining the worst things.”

Taskmaster has revealed its celebrity line-up for series 14.The BAFTA and National Comedy Award winning game show will soon return to Channel 4, although an air date is yet to be officially confirmed.Joining the line-up for the latest series are stand-up comedian and television presenter Dara Ó Briain (Mock The Week), stand-up comedian Fern Brady (Live At The Apollo), stand-up, writer and actor John Kearns, comedian, broadcaster and digital creator Munya Chawawa, and award-winning stand-up comedian Sarah Millican.Greg Davies will return to his throne as the titular host of the show, as will his assistant Alex Horne, to help judge and adjudicate the celebrities as they carry out a number of bizarre and challenging tasks.Horne, who co-created the series, also serves as executive producer, alongside Richard Allen-Turner, Rob Aslett, James Taylor, Jon Thoday and Andy Devonshire.News of the new line-up comes after the Channel 4 show enjoyed the one-off special Taskmaster Champion Of Champions tonight (June 23), in which the winners from series six to ten reunited to determine an overall victor.The former champions included Richard Herring, Liza Tarbuck, Kerry Godliman, Lou Sanders and Ed Gamble.

Richard Osman’s replacement on popular quiz show Pointless has been revealed, after he announced he was leaving the show. Richard co-hosted the BBC show for 13 years, alongside Alexander Armstrong, however, in April, he revealed that he was leaving to focus on writing his books, such as The Thursday Murder Club which have become hugely popular.

Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer is a must watch on TV tonight (Tuesday April 19). The Great British Bake Off, returns once again as a whole of host of stars take on baking challenges in an effort to raise money and awareness for Stand Up to Cancer. The Channel 4 series, which started on airing on Tuesday March 22, will see contestants take on a range of challenges including making decorated biscuits, a technical round involving making madeleines and an another round to showcase their secret baking talents.

Sir Mo Farah, singer Ellie Goulding and Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse. Other stars who will put their baking skills to the test include comedian and creator of Taskmaster Alex Horne, TV presenter Emma Willis, singer-songwriter Example and choirmaster Gareth Malone. Also hoping to impress the judges are radio DJ Annie Mac, actor and author Ben Miller, The Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison, and TV and radio presenter Clara Amfo.

Peep Show star David Mitchell is set to host a new game show featuring members of the Taskmaster team.According to a synopsis, Outsiders, which is a new original show set to air on Dave, will see Mitchell “challenge” a returning cast of three pairs of comedians to prove they’ve got the mettle and skills to thrive in the great outdoors.”The returning cast of comedians will include Taskmaster regulars Ed Gamble, Jamali Maddix, Jessica Knappett, Kerry Godliman and Lou Sanders alongside Toussaint
