In the film, having pulled off a death-defying escape from Tweedy’s farm, Ginger has finally found her dream – a peaceful island sanctuary for the whole flock, far from the dangers of the human world.
Chicken Run: Dawn Of The Nugget, the highly tipped animated sequel Aardman and director Sam Fell have made for Netflix, will debut at this year’s London Film Festival.

Selome Hailu It wouldn’t be hard to confuse this year’s Emmy nominees for acting with some sort of Forbes list. The talent across the lead, supporting and guest categories for both actors and actresses in drama and comedy include seven under age 30: Lead comedy actress nominees Jenna Ortega (“Wednesday”) and Ayo Edebiri (“The Bear”); lead drama actress nominee Bella Ramsey (“The Last of Us”), supporting drama actress nominee Simona Tabasco (“The White Lotus”), supporting limited series actress nominee Camila Morrone (“Daisy Jones & the Six”), guest drama actress nominee Storm Reid (“The Last of Us”) and guest drama actor nominee Keivonn Montreal Woodard (“The Last of Us”), who is the second-youngest Emmy nominee of all time.
The Last Of Us Season 2 will not have another special episode for side characters like season one did. In season one we saw that episode three was completely about the characters Bill and Frank. This will not happen in the next season and it is good news for the main character, Ellie.
The Last Of Us is a huge hit and it always has been. Now, according to new remarks from executive producer Craig Mazin, HBO’s TLOU will go for at least 3 Seasons. “It’s going to be more than one season.
The Last Of Us is non-binary, and has recently shared their hope for gender-neutral categories at award ceremonies. The 19-year-old has been nominated for the award alongside alongside Sarah Snook (Succession), Sharon Horgan (Bad Sisters), Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale), Melanie Lynskey (Yellowjackets) and Keri Russell (The Diplomat) at the 2023 Emmys, and many have shared their dislike of the choice, owing to Ramsey’s gender-fluid identity, which they revealed earlier this year.“‘best actress’ for an openly nonbinary person who wore a binder the entire filming hahahahaha sick,” one wrote on social media.Another added: “Award shows need more inclusive categories for people with gender-expansive identities.”‘best actress’ for an openly nonbinary person who wore a binder the entire filming hahahahaha sick https://t.co/YR3sB3Rpzr— dyke wazowski (@sillygoofyz) July 12, 2023Award shows need more inclusive categories for people with gender-expansive identities.— Zillastorm (@Zillastorm) July 12, 2023In an interview after the nomination was announced, The Last Of Us creator Craig Mazin said that he had spoken with Ramsey about the situation, and that it’s “a really interesting challenge” in the film industry. He told Variety: “On the one hand, the conversation about gender has transformed dramatically and in a very progressive and positive way.“On the other, we have to practically make sure that by moving away from gendered categories, we don’t short-change traditionally overlooked folks… and we know that in non-gendered categories like directing and writing, women have been historically under-appreciated.”Earlier this year, Ramsey called for “more space” for non-binary actors at awards shows.
The Last Of Us Part 2, is a game that was released just three years ago. TLOU Part 2 was a game loved and hated by many, but overall it was accepted pretty well. With the release of HBO’s The Last Of Us, popularity for the franchise shot back up thanks to Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey’s amazing job as Joel and Ellie.
For 10-year-old actor Keivonn Woodard, life is nothing but net. Literally. As the Emmy nominations were read on Wednesday morning, Woodard was at a basketball summer camp program while his mother, April Jackson, was at home watching her son make television history.
Selome Hailu After a spring spent breaking audiences’ hearts and viewership records for HBO, “The Last of Us” co-creator and showrunner Craig Mazin is having a complicated summer. On one hand, Mazin’s show just earned 24 Emmy nominations — more than any other show this year besides HBO peer “Succession.” Highlights include lead acting nods for Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey; a whopping seven guest acting nods including deaf 10-year-old actor Kevionn Montreal Woodard; and another in the outstanding drama series category. But on the other, Mazin is a proud member of the Writers Guild of America, which has been on strike for 72 days against the studios, networks and streamers that make up the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
HBO’s The Last Of Us is gearing up for what could be a very successful awards season. This TV adaptation of Naughty Dog’s former Game Of The Year Award winner has been a huge hit and it’s really showing. TLOU could have a nice clean sweep in a wide range of categories.
Pedro Pascal is leading the Emmy nominations alongside Jenna Ortega. The two Latin stars are making history in their categories, with Jenna becoming the youngest Latina acting nominee in the Comedy Series category, following America Ferrera’s nomination and win in 2008.The Chilean actor is breaking a record in the Drama category for his incredible performance in the popular HBO series ‘The Last of Us,’ acting alongside Bella Ramsey, who has also been nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama series.
Taron Egerton, Daniel Radcliffe, Will Sharpe, Brian Cox and Bella Ramsey are among the UK actors who are up for prizes at the 75th annual Emmys.
Joe Otterson TV Reporter The nominations for the 75th Emmy Awards are out and HBO is once again dominating. The premium cabler’s shows “Succession,” “The Last of Us,” and “The White Lotus” represent the three most-nominated shows of the year. Season 2 of “The White Lotus” was third with 23 nominations, which includes five nominations in the best supporting actress in a drama category.
Congrats to the rookies!
The Last Of Us is a beloved franchise, and a Part 3 is inevitable. Both previous titles have been massive hits for Sony and Naughty Dog. Interests in the franchise spiked earlier this year as HBO Max and Neil Druckmann nailed the TV adaptation of TLOU Part 1.

The cast of The Last of Us might have looked very different.
“The Last of Us” bosses originally had someone else in mind to play Joel Miller instead of Pedro Pascal.
It’s hard to imagine The Last of Us without Pedro Pascal, but cocreator Craig Mazin revealed that there was another contender for the role of Joel — Matthew McConaughey.
This story about director Peter Hoar and “The Last of Us” first ran in the Drama Series issue of TheWrap’s awards magazine. For pure emotional punch this past TV season, one need look no further than “Long, Long Time,” the third episode of HBO’s “The Last of Us.” Detouring from the main journey of a lone man and the fungus-resistant young woman under his care (Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey) navigating zombie-strewn roads, the series settled down for a decades-spanning romance between two older men, Bill and Frank (played unforgettably by Nick Offerman and Murray Bartlett), that resonated with its universality and refusal to reduce the duo to dreary stereotypes. If your heart didn’t break watching these men make peace with their life decisions through the unsteady ages, you simply do not and never did have one beating in your chest.“I would have said yes to an episode full of zombies being shot in the head and probably would have been very excited,” director Peter Hoar said.
The Last Of Us star Bella Ramsey over the topic of gendered award categories.Yesterday (June 18), The Good Place star spoke on the topic on Instagram, suggesting it could be “better to give non-binary people their own category” in awards shows.Ramsey, who confirmed earlier this year that they are gender-fluid and has previously spoken on feeling uncomfortable submitting for the 2023 Emmys, shared their thoughts in response.“I feel weird about there being a whole new category,” Ramsey wrote. “I think it’s more about language… I would love the award categories to be called ‘Actress/Non-Binary Performer’ and ‘Actor/Non-Binary Performer’ then the performer can be submitted to their preferred category.A post shared by Jameela Jamil (@jameelajamil)“It’s not a perfect solution but that’s my take on it.
In HBO’s hit series The Last of Us, it’s the end of the world as most of humanity knows it, but Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey feel just fine. Long gone are the traces of the hardened survivor Joel (Pascal) and the teenage spitfire Ellie (Ramsey), who must endure the collapse of modern civilization due to a deadly mutable fungus that turns people into zombie-like creatures. Well, sort of. Comfortably sat within the confines of a secluded lounge at the Directors Guild of America, the pair are swapping inside jokes and bursting with laughter. While Pascal trades in Joel’s stoicism for passion, Ramsey can’t quite shake the penchant for Ellie’s habitual cussing.
