The DJ for Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime show died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a motel in Encino, California, on Dec. 13, 2022, at the age of 40.Boss’ widow, Allison Holker, told officers that “to her knowledge, [Boss] does not have a history of suicide attempts or suicidal ideation.” Also, he “does not have any mental health problems, does not have any financial issues or marital problems,” according to a police report included with the autopsy findings.The Post reached out to Holker, 35, for comment.“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,” she said in a statement to The Post at the time.“Stephen lit up every room he stepped into.
