The Who‘s Pete Townshend has released his first solo single in 29 years in the form of ‘Can’t Outrun The Truth’.The track – released today (March 24) for charity – was composed and produced by Townshend’s partner Rachel Fuller under the pseudonym Charlie Pepper. Courtney Barnett has shared details of a new UK and Europe tour later this year.The Australian singer-songwriter will play 14 shows in support of her latest album, ‘Things Take Time, Take Time’, kicking things off at Munich’s Neue Theaterfabrik on October 28 before wrapping at London’s Roundhouse on November 13 for Pitchfork Music Festival.Earlier this month Barnett supported The Rolling Stones for their 60th anniversary show at BST in Hyde Park, London. The Queen once reacted hilariously to her eldest son Prince Charles, 73, calling her “mummy” in one of his speeches. Prince Charles took to the stage at Saturday’s Party at the Palace to pay tribute to his 96 year old mother, and gushed over the Queen’s achievement over her last 70 years on the throne.
