Perrie Edwards hints at Jesy Nelson feud song on new album - after falling out

Pop star Perrie Edwards has dropped some new tracks - and fans have speculated she’s written about a fallout between herself and a Little Mix band member. So far, Perrie has released two songs, Forget About Us and Tears, since leaving Little Mix and becoming a solo artist. Perrie has teased there is a lot more to come and has spoken about her upcoming album leading fans to wonder if one song is about Jesy Nelson.
The pair were part of the band Little Mix for 10 years.
But Jesy quit in 2020, just two years before the band went on hiatus. Talking about her upcoming album on The Zach Sang Show, Perrie says she has written a song about a close friend who disappeared from her life. She didn’t explicitly name Jesy but said: “There’s a friendship that I no longer have.
I wrote a song about that.
That song – I can’t even listen to it without crying. It is about them and how we didn’t see eye-to-eye. It’s a really sad song.” “We don’t talk any more.
They were a big part of my life so it’s sad how it all ended up.” When asked whether Perrie would consider making up with the friend, she said she was open to it - but that after hearing the song, she’s not sure her friend will be.
OK! have contacted Perrie's reps for comment. It’s not all bad news for Little Mix fans though as Perrie has revealed she expects Little Mix to reunite at some point in the future.
Talking to The Sun at Capital’s Summertime Ball about a potential comeback, Perrie said: "I definitely think at some point, we just love each other, so I think getting back together at some point in the future is definitely an option.
