Police are appealing for information after a pensioner was knocked down by a van outside a hospital.
The 85-year-old woman was hit by a white Peugeot Boxer van at around 11am on Monday near Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
The motor was travelling from the back of the hospital onto Old Perth Road and pulled out onto the junction when it collided with the pensioner .
Emergency services attended the scene, where the driver stopped.
The OAP was taken to Raigmore Hospital with a serious head injury.
