Strictly Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice has had to cancel a live show in Wales after the venue was closed for construction checks. This comes at the same time as his dance partner, Amanda Abbington, has had to leave this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing due to health reasons.
Amanda Abbington has quit Strictly Come Dancing, it has been confirmed, after she was forced to miss the live show on Saturday, 21 October. According to The Daily Star, Amanda, 49, who was partnered with Giovanni Pernice, 33, on the show, made the decision to step down from the competition after becoming 'fed up'.
Lil Yachty’s show in Vancouver on Saturday night ended early after fans from the seated section of the arena he was performing in made their way to the front section, away from the area designated on their tickets. Yachty was performing at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre in Vancouver as part of his Field Trip Tour and has yet to comment on the incident. In footage shot inside the arena he is heard telling fans to "fill it up" prior to performing "Slide." He is later shown to tell people to return to their seats.

Ellise Shafer The MTV Europe Music Awards, which were set to be held in Paris on Nov. 5, are no longer going forward this year “out of an abundance of caution.” A statement from a Paramount spokesperson reads, “Given the volatility of world events, we have decided not to move forward with the 2023 MTV EMAs out of an abundance of caution for the thousands of employees, crew members, artists, fans and partners who travel from all corners of the world to bring the show to life.” The statement continues, “The MTV EMAs are an annual celebration of global music.
Doctors will be permanently taken off air in 2024, after the BBC made the decision to axe the show following rising costs and decreasing viewing figures. The BBC soap has been a staple to our TV screens since 2000 but the final episodes of Doctors will air in December 2024, with filming wrapping up in March. Over the past 23 years, the hit TV show has helped to launch the careers of dozens of stars including the likes of Emilia Clarke, Jodie Comer and Claire Foy, who have all gone on to find serious fame.

UPDATED: There will be no third season for Apple TV+s The Afterparty. The streamer has canceled the murder mystery comedy series after two seasons, Deadline has confirmed. The decision comes a month after Season 2 ended its run.

Fire crews tackled blaze at a car dealership in Greater Manchester. The incident involved a car fire on the ground floor of the commercial garage at the Greengate Industrial Estate in Middleton.
