Paul Cattermole 'told fan he was 'buzzing' for S Club 7 reunion days before his death'

Paul Cattermole reportedly "couldn't hide" his excitement for S Club 7's reunion tour when he spoke to a fan just days before his tragic death.The 46 year old singer, who passed away on 6 April, was said to be "very happy" and "chatty" as he spoke to an S Club 7 fan near his home in Dorset on Wednesday. Paul reportedly shared his excitement about the band's upcoming reunion tour, scheduled for October, telling the fan it "will be brilliant".
The man, who described himself as a "big fan of S Club", said: "I knew Paul lived in the area and he was very happy and chatty when I introduced myself." The fan continued to The Sun: “He told me the band were going back on tour and couldn’t hide how excited he was about it. He was beaming when he said, ‘I’m going to smash it — it will be brilliant!’” He revealed his conversation with Paul finished with the pair sharing a handshake and Paul telling him he was about to head out for lunch with a friend.
The fan shared his shock at the singer's death, adding: "He was smiley and upbeat and had so much to look forward to then the next day he was gone — it’s just awful.” Paul tragically passed away on Thursday, after being found dead at his home in Dorset, aged just 46 years old. In a statement from Paul's family and S Club 7 to OK!, it said: "It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole.
"Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon. "While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances.
