Earlier in the week, Patti cursed out an audience member at a Company talkback who refused to properly wear their mask.
“Put your mask over your nose, that’s why you’re in the theater,” Patti can be heard saying at the start of the clip as the audience clapped. “That is the rule. If you don’t want to follow the rule, get the f–k out!”
The room erupted into cheers as she continued, “Who do you think you are? That you do not respect the people that are sitting around you!”
One theatergoer chimed in “We pay your salary!” to which Patti replied: “Bulls–t. Chris Harper pays my salary!”
Patti was at the nominees event as she’s nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical. Her co-stars Jennifer Simard and Matt Doyle, who are also nominated, were in attendance too!
