Park Seo Joon, Hyun Bin, and other K drama actors who are RULING 2020 like no other

It is not new to see South Korean stars come forward to support their fellow actors and their shows and movies. But every time it happens, it makes our hearts flutter.

Over decades, Korean entertainment has swept across the globe with a huge international fan following at its beck and call thanks to the gripping dramas, creative storytelling in films and addictive music. Korean actors are not just popular locally but enjoy a worldwide fanbase as well.

Kim Soo Hyun has returned to the small screen for the first time since he wrapped his military training with It's Okay To Not Be Okay. The actor plays Moon Kang Tae in the Korean drama.

For K-drama enthusiasts, Crash Landing on You almost feels like home. The 2020 drama managed to win millions of hearts for its star-crossed lovers' storyline which centered on Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye-jin), a South Korean heiress who gets swept across to North Korea into the strong hands of Ri Jeong-hyeok (Hyun Bin), a North Korean captain in the Korean People's Army.

Trust me when I say this: It is hard to be a Korean drama fan. No, no, not because I ample options of series to watch from.

For the unversed, the storyline of CLOY centered around the star-crossed love story between North Korean Ri Jeong-hyeok, a captain in the Korean People's Army and South Korean Yoon Se-ri, heiress to the Queen's Group.

Park Seo Joon is having a memorable year. The Korean star began the year on a happy note with Itaewon Class and went on to bag a nomination at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards.

The South Korean entertainment industry has seen numerous relationships make and break with time. However, there were two break ups that we couldn't completely get over: Lee Min Ho and Suzy Bae, and Song Hye Kyo and Hyun Bin.

Lee Joo Young is having a memorable year. The actress tasted success after she starred in Itaewon Class.

Woo Do Hwan has impressed viewers with his double role in The King: Eternal Monarch. The actor plays a mellow, composed and protective Captain Jo Young, who is tasked with supporting and protecting Lee Min Ho's character Lee Gon.

As though we don't adore the Wooga Squad enough, BTS singer V has given us another reason to shower the gang with love. For the unversed, the friends' group includes Bangtan Boy Kim Taehyung, Itaewon Class star Park Seo Joon, Korean artist Peakboy, Parasite actor Choi Woo Shik, and singer Park Hyun Sik.

Hyun Bin is having a fantastic 2020. The actor began the new decade with his show Crash Landing On You.

While K-drama enthusiasts were glued to their screens yesterday, i.e. June 5, 2020, to watch the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards, which is like the Korea equivalent of the Oscars, fans of Crash Landing on You were in awe of the series' lead couple, Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin.

It was a memorable day for Kang Ha Neul as he bagged the Best Actor at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards. The actor, who starred in When the Camellia Blooms, beat Namgoong Min (Hot Stove League), Park Se Joon (Itaewon Class), Joo Ji Hoon (Hyena) and Hyun Bin (Crash Landing on You) in the category.

K-drama fans are excited this week as their favourite shows, actors and actresses are in the running to win at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards, which is the Korea equivalent of Oscars. Tomorrow, i.e. June 5, 2020, we will come to know as to will win the big three awards; Best Drama, Best Actor and Best Actress, among the other nods. Popular K-dramas like Crash Landing on You and Itaewon Class has several nominations under its belt and are also amongst the fan-favourites.
