Paris Fury 'heartbroken' by Tyson backlash and 'doesn't want pity' over Netflix series

Paris Fury has been left "heartbroken" following the backlash from fans regarding husband Tyson's behaviour on their Netflix show.
The series, At Home With The Furys, gave viewers an insight into the life of Tyson, 35, Paris, 33, and their six kids – Venezuela, 13, Prince John James, 11, Prince Tyson II, seven, Valencia, five, Prince Adonis Amaziah, four, and two-year-old Athena.
The docuseries sees the family adapt to Tyson retiring from boxing, as well as giving an intimate look at his mental health struggles and how they affect his family. As the series focusses on the highs and lows within the Fury family, many viewers felt critical towards Tyson, which has reportedly left Paris feeling gutted by the reaction.
In the series, viewers saw tensions rise between the couple when Paris planned a welcome home party for the boxer but upon arriving home he threw a blanket at her and went to greet the family’s Rottweiler instead. In another scene, Tyson spoke openly about how his mental health can affect his family.
“I’m up and down all the time, and it’s uncontrollable,” he said. “I take it out on people around me. Sometimes I seem very selfish but I don’t have control of it.”
Some viewers were very critical when it came to Tyson's relationship with his family, but a source close to the Fury family insists Paris doesn't want pity from fans. “Paris is heartbroken by the comments she’s seeing about Tyson. She has always known he’s someone difficult to get your head around and that he can be hard work, but she didn’t expect him to receive such a bad reception from the public,” the insider told OK!
