Parasite, a South Korean social satire from filmmaker Bong Joon-ho, has received critical acclaim this awards season for its biting commentary on economic inequality. The film is nominated at the 2020 Golden Globes for Best Foreign-Language Film, Best Screenplay of a Motion Picture and Best Director of a Motion Picture. If the film’s script, which was cowritten by Joon-ho and Han Jin Won, wins best screenplay it will be the first foreign film to take home the honor.

When the nominations for the 92nd Annual Academy Awards were announced on Monday, Bong Joon-ho's made history by becoming the first South Korean film nominated for Best International Film. In total, the movie was nominated for six Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Film Editing and Best Production Design.

Trust BTS to lay out a fool-proof plan for an epic comeback. The K-Pop band took a quick break last year and now, they are back in the spotlight as they prepare to drop their new album.
